11-years-old blind senior begging to be saved from deadly shelter- URGENT! HE WAS DUE OUT

How does a 11-year-old dog who is blind and barely weighs six pounds wind up at the Riverside County Animal Control? Volunteers begging for help saving this little dog can not imagine him sitting alone in the loud, cold and frightening shelter without someone helping him.

I am a neutered male, white and black Jack (Parson) Russell Terrier.
The shelter staff think I am about 11 years old.
I have been at the shelter since Mar 01, 2018.
My stray holding period ended on 03/07/2018 and I am now available for adoption.
