6 months old pup has already given up. No one has picked Chief

He is only 6 months old and has already given up. No one has picked him. And no one will pick him. He has been at a high kill shelter that is just used to euthanizing everyone that comes through the doors.

He has reduced himself to him impending death. He should be too young to die, but in San Antonio, Texas, he's the normal age, and the wrong breed. He desperately needs a rescue and foster to get out alive! Please help network him!

Chief is very shy in the kennel. He just lays there shivering and looking around with his sad eyes. Gentle pets help him feel comforted and loved. Will you help him break out of his shell? Chief is around 6 months old and weighs about 8-10 lbs.
